Looking for someone who has performed a wide variety of bagging machine work. A bagging machine shall be defined as a packaging machine multi-head combination scale, PLC control, program control interface (interactive screen), and flexible packaging (film) which is formed around a product being bagged. Among other requirements, the machine operator will be responsible to perform all of the following operations: film changes, program operations changes and adjustments, code date set-up and adjustment, weight control verification and adjustment, scale assembly and separation, product line changeover, product allergen changeover, document completion as required. Perform any other work, manual or otherwise, as assigned by Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Satisfactory work and attendance record
• Must fully understand the set-up of and the adjustment needs to obtain the specific weight of each product run on the line.
• Set-up, calibrate and test metal detectors.
