ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

  • Responsible for the overall performance of the plant’s Maintenance Department, including Maintenance Personnel.
  • Develop and implement the plant’s R&M budget, and monitor cost relative to equipment repairs and upgrades.
  • Schedule labor to meet plant and equipment requirements, while assigning responsibilities, supervising and supporting Maintenance personnel as needed.
  • Actively participate with Operations in plant improvement initiatives.  Ensure all mechanical, electrical, electronic and structural repair and improvements are performed to industry standards.
  • Develop, implement and maintain a system for tracking work orders, preventative and predictive maintenance, and parts and equipment inventory. 
  • Assist in providing direction in defining and justifying capital projects, as well as installation of new equipment or processes.
  • Evaluate Maintenance personnel skills and abilities and establish a training program for development within the Department.
  • Coach and develop employees to achieve continuous improvement in performance levels. 
  • Advise the Plant Manager on mechanical issues and their impact on production output.
  • Ensure that all utilities (i.e. refrigeration, electrical, steam, compressed air systems, etc.) are in proper working order to support production.  Troubleshoot machinery and process systems in the event of breakdowns.
  • Coordinate with production supervision downtime windows for PM and repair work.
  • Communicate effectively with maintenance and plant personnel, Operations, Corporate Engineering, Quality, R&D and other internal teams to ensure smooth operation of the process. 
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Contractors, Vendors, Consultants and Suppliers.
  • Develop and administer aspects of plant’s safety programs as deemed necessary, conduct safety training and enforce safe working practices at all times.  Document and investigate every accident and injury to prevent future occurrences.
  • Fulfill plant requirements relative to regulatory reporting (i.e. DNR, etc.)  Document plant activities relative to wastewater permits, storm water, air emissions, Tier II reporting, pressure vessel registration, building permits, etc., to ensure compliance to current codes and permits for all regulatory agencies. 
  • Provide adequate physical plant capacity for present and anticipated future process requirements.  Ensure refrigeration and boiler systems meet regulatory and industry compliance with all regulatory departments. Coordinate activities relative to solid waste and hazardous material handling.  Assist in development of in-plant recycling programs. 
  • Audit availability and application of surplus plant equipment and components for determination of disposition to other facilities or outside vendors. Assist in development and maintenance of physical asset inventory and record system.  
  • Understand federal, state and local regulatory compliance issues within the food industry, which will cover environmental, equipment and structural requirements (e.g. USDA, FDA, OSHA, EPA, NFPA).  Interact effectively with regulatory agencies.
  • Enforce the Company’s policies and programs with employees, contractors, vendors, consultants and suppliers (i.e. safety, GMPs, etc).


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees all Maintenance personnel; responsibilities include training employees, disciplining employees, planning, assigning, and directing work. 


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field a plus; minimum of five (5) years maintenance experience within Food, and/or Beverage industry; supervision experience required; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding of budgetary principles.
  • Working knowledge of boilers, refrigeration, PLCs, electrical, cooling towers, ammonia compressors and packaging equipment.
  • Working knowledge of environmental issues and compliance (i.e. effluent, BOD, COD, etc.), a plus.

Job Summary

  • Provide training and abide all safety regulations required by PSM, OSHA, and State;

  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to maintain plant operations as well as new project support;

  • Trouble shoots and diagnoses cause of electronic or mechanical malfunctions using knowledge, manuals, SOPs, specifications and other workplace aids.   • Resolves and repairs all system faults and anomalies associated with installation, operation, maintenance, and connectivity problems, including changes, adjustments, and modifications to control code and standard operating parameters.   • Performs routine preventative and corrective maintenance and testing on equipment. Performs a large variety of tests on all electrical and electronic systems. Heavy coordination with engineers and external sources for timely repairs or replacement of parts to ensure machine downtime is minimal. Maintains preventative maintenance logs and accurate records of all testing and repairs.
  • Manages and coordinates with team members to coordinate on-site installation of automation equipment. Exercising independent discretion, examining layout and anticipating difficulties and challenges. Based on technical expertise, recommends and implements improvements.
  • Provides guidance and maintenance training to production supervisors, manufacturing engineers, and maintenance mechanics in the operation, repair, maintenance, and logistics support of machinery and equipment.
  • Develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical documentation, and instruction manuals for operation, processes and maintenance of automation equipment. Maintains technical manuals and job files.
  • Follow and promote all health and safety rules, regulations and practices. Locks out equipment for proper and safe handling and servicing.
  • Troubleshoot problems dealing with plant instrumentation and automation equipment to include but not limited to: valves; pressure; temperature; level, flow, conductivity, speed, force instruments; motor controls; PLC’s, HMI’s, etc.;

The Microbiology Manager is responsible for developing test protocols and procedures focused on the growth, structure and development. The position oversees microbiology laboratories in 4 locations that verify process controls and product quality. Fermentation, storage and bottling are critical operations the microbiology team monitors. Essential Duties:

Under the direction of the department manager the Production Supervisor is responsible for carrying out all bottling assignments as scheduled in a safe and efficient manner. These assignments include bottling line(s) operation, employee hiring, training scheduling and discipline. You will be responsible to supervise production, cellar and maintenance workers in on your shift - up to approximately 20-25 employees. Other responsibilities include job description and SOP updating as necessary, production reporting, warehousing of produced goods, department housekeeping, equipment sanitation, material management, recycling and waste management. Overall will be responsible for all aspects of the bottling operations on assigned shift while offering a team effort for the department as a whole.


Essential Duties:

  • Understand and comply with all ISO 9001-2015, HACCP and GMP requirements and processes
  • Meet with the previous shift supervisor and maintenance leads prior to pre-shift meetings to discuss any issues that may affect your line productivity
  • Complete all safety requirements as in tailgate trainings, line checks and the overall safety awareness and commitment of staff
  • Reporting of daily shift production along with other required documentation.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings which will be conducted during the first 15 minutes of every shift where employees will be informed of daily tasks, goals, and issues followed by line clean up
  • Check and ensure proper set up of lines and materials
  • Ensure all product is being properly filled, sealed, decorated and coded to the current BOM specifications

CNC Programmer/Operator

  • Develop NC code for 3-axis machining centers and 2-axis turning centers using CAM software.
  • Develop new programs and enhance existing programs to improve productivity.
  • Add operator notes to describe and error-proof the NC programs.
  • Output electronic NC data through a post-processor.
  • Evaluate the G-code program to ensure the G-code matches the graphics program.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds and cut depths to achieve best metal removal rates.
  • Work with machinists to proof NC programs and modify machining parameters to optimize metal removal and maximize tool life.

Our very well established and growing Food Processing client is PARTNERING with STAFFING PARTNERS in search of an experienced Quality Control Technician for IMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITY. This is a Full-Time Temp to Hire need with the possibility of converting to the Company's Payroll!!
 

Hours:

  • Monday-Friday with mandatory Saturdays as needed
  • During Training will work Day Shift - 6:00am-2:30pm for approximately 4 to 6 weeks.
  • Most likely will then be 12 Hour Night Shift - 6:00pm-6:30am, after training. 
  • INCLUDES OVERTIME PAY!


Job Scope:
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for implementing and adhering to the Quality Control program at the manufacturing site. This includes conducting Quality Control checks during production, verifying adherence to the mycotoxin testing protocol, conducting mycotoxin testing, verifying sanitation activities, and other responsibilities as needed.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• As directed and trained, conduct various tests for incoming ingredients, including sieve, NIR, moisture, and mycotoxin testing.
• Routinely check operator paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
• Routinely check label, bags and seals.
• Perform and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Working overtime is MANDATORY and requires full participation.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in accordance to company policy.
• Perform all functions in accordance with sound safety practices and procedures.
• Report all safety violations and safety hazards to Shift Supervisor/Safety Manager immediately
• Participate in all safety programs


Qualifications:
• Must be computer literate
• Must have ability to accept temporary assignment changes to assist other areas of the plant, maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
• Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds of product routinely, and climbing a ladder to maintenance equipment from a catwalk.
• Must maintain assigned portion of master sanitation schedule.
• Must work in a safe, professional manner at all times.
• Must report any accidents, property damage, or near misses to a supervisor immediately.
• Must have the ability to be trained and certified to operate forklifts.
 

Other Qualifications:
• HACCP, GFSI, or SQF certification is a plus.
• Must have excellent communication skills to communicate with other employees and supervisors.
• Flexibility to be available to help cover for other Quality Control employees when called upon.
• Ability to read bin level and work schedule.
 

Must have experience working in Quality Control in a food manufacturing plant as described above.

SALARY - $17.00 - 18.50/HR

LOCATION - Stockton

HOURS - Monday thru Fridays, 8:am to 5:pm


This position is responsible for duties related to the receiving, sale, delivery of parts and accessories at the parts counter. In addition to providing exemplary customer service within the parts department. This position also backs up all other parts positions including delivery, shipping, receiving and other roles as needed at the location. 


Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Selling parts to customers at front counter using industry specific software
  • Receive and put in place, inventory, store parts, equipment and material into the department
  • Provide excellent customer service according to the company’s Customer Expectations Policy
  • Monitor and follow up on parts shortage and expedite ordering as required by the Parts Supervisor 
  • May supply service technicians with parts as required 
  • May assist in transporting parts, small equipment and related supplies to other locations/customers
  • Responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory and cycle counts of all parts at the location
  • Maintain records of pickup, deliveries and obtains necessary signatures and receipts
  • Assists in maintaining all departmental tools and equipment
  • Coordinate the perpetual or annual physical inventory of all parts and related inventories
  • Assist with merchandising displays 
  • Promote and sell products and services to customers


Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Minimum of high School diploma plus 2 years of related experience 
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
