JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
Performs  routine maintenance and inspection of the production process equipment,  the utility support systems and the production rooms. This may include,  but will not be limited to, water treatment systems and analysis,  boilers and operation, refrigeration systems and components, proper  welding practices (Sanitary A-3 standards), the ability to read and  troubleshoot ladder logic on PLC control systems and related components,  proper electrical practices (codes), and pumps. Trouble shooting  equipment problems and make necessary repairs as needed.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Completes  work orders covering scheduled maintenance of the process equipment.  Completes unscheduled repairs of all areas as needed. Provides support  to operators and companion maintenance mechanics. Always seeking  continuous self and the improvement of equipment and the work  environment.
Performs non-routine maintenance activities, including  but not limited to basic preventative maintenance on all process  equipment. Completes daily log sheets, inventory usage data entry to  computer system.
Installs electrical for new equipment, submits  detailed information required for the purpose of ordering parts and all  support materials. Sets up clearances on fillers.
Performs  calibration of process equipment instrumentation (level transmitters,  pressure transmitters, RTD’s, flow meters, etc), and duties as needed or  assigned by the maintenance supervisor. Acts as member of Emergency  Response Team.

Primary Duties:
Work in a production/warehouse setting.
Prepare daily mail for the Post Office and UPS.
Pick, pack and ship request for a variety of marketing materials.
Provide quality control for the appearance of outgoing mail.
Transport mail to the Post Office
Assist the Fulfillment Manager with project management and coordinating temporary staffing needs to meet deadlines.


Qualifications:
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following qualifications:
Strong organizational skills

Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
Ability to lift 60 lbs.
Ability to move loaded pallets with pallet jack

If you have the following attributes, you would be a stronger candidate:
Experience working in a mail room or fulfillment (pick and pack) center.
Knowledge of both USPS and UPS specifications.
Familiar with Bulking Mailing Software

Our well-established and local client is PARTNERING with STAFFING PARTNERS in search of an experienced Carpenter for this DIRECT HIRE CAREER OPPORTUNITY. 

Will ensure the timely, cost-effective and high-quality execution of all carpentry duties for assigned properties under the supervision and direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.


Carpentry Responsibilities

  • Perform carpentry duties as required, including the design, fabrication, installation and repair of wood and formica structures, and operate the full range of equipment related to carpentry activities.
  • Frame and install walls, partitions, doorways and windows.
  • Hang both interior and exterior doors.
  • Replace windows and door screens.
  • Replace baseboards and trimwork. (see J.)
  • Install, repair and replace damaged cabinetry and countertops as needed.
  • Install and replace a variety of hardware including door locks and jambs, handicap bars and curtain rods.
  • Install, repair and replace fences and gates as needed.
  • Assist with remodels as directed (i.e., tearing down existing walls, framing new walls).
  • Perform painting touch-ups as required by carpentry installations or repairs (i.e., when hanging doors, installing fences & balcony railings).

Equipment Maintenance and Safety

  • Perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment based on manufacturer recommendations and operating manuals, and maintain all personal and company-owned tools, supplies and materials.
  • Ensure the company vehicle is adequately stocked with routinely used supplies and materials and is maintained in safe working condition at all times.
  • Comply fully with safety standards as well as with Cal-OSHA in all work, and utilize proper safety precautions according to manufacturer recommendations.

General Duties

  • Assist with general property maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Complete work orders in a timely manner, and provide daily reports on work completed to the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Attend and participate in the weekly property meetings.
  •  Make recommendations regarding the implementation of new processes, techniques, materials and/or equipment that will enhance or improve operations.
  • Attend continuing education classes and additional training throughout the year to sharpen existing skills and to learn new skills.
  • Participate in the emergency on-call schedule to ensure evening, weekend and holiday coverage.

Job Summary

Our very well established and growing Food Processing client is PARTNERING with us in search of an experienced Quality Control Technicians for IMMEDIATE OPPORTUNITY. There are 2 Full-Time Temp to Hire needs with the possibility of converting to the Company's Payroll!!
 

Hours:

  • Monday-Friday with mandatory Saturdays as needed
  • During Training will work Day Shift - 6:00am-2:30pm for approximately 4 to 6 weeks.
  • Most likely will then be 12 Hour Night Shift - 6:00pm-6:30am, after training.  
  • INCLUDES OVERTIME PAY!

 Job Scope:
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for implementing and adhering to the Quality Control program at the manufacturing site. This includes conducting Quality Control checks during production, verifying adherence to the mycotoxin testing protocol, conducting mycotoxin testing, verifying sanitation activities, and other responsibilities as needed.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• As directed and trained, conduct various tests for incoming ingredients, including sieve, NIR, moisture, and mycotoxin testing.
• Routinely check operator paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
• Routinely check label, bags and seals.
• Perform and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Working overtime is MANDATORY and requires full participation.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in accordance to company policy.
• Perform all functions in accordance with sound safety practices and procedures.
• Report all safety violations and safety hazards to Shift Supervisor/Safety Manager immediately
• Participate in all safety programs


Qualifications:
• Must be computer literate
• Must have ability to accept temporary assignment changes to assist other areas of the plant, maintaining a positive, professional attitude.
• Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds of product routinely, and climbing a ladder to maintenance equipment from a catwalk.
• Must maintain assigned portion of master sanitation schedule.
• Must work in a safe, professional manner at all times.
• Must report any accidents, property damage, or near misses to a supervisor immediately.
• Must have the ability to be trained and certified to operate forklifts.
 

Other Qualifications:
• HACCP, GFSI, or SQF certification is a plus.
• Must have excellent communication skills to communicate with other employees and supervisors.
• Flexibility to be available to help cover for other Quality Control employees when called upon.
• Ability to read bin level and work schedule.
 

Must have experience working in Quality Control in a food manufacturing plant as described above.
