Duties:

Knowledge:

The Production Engineer will coordinate plant engineering for the company by overseeing and improving production processes and equipment. The production engineer will coordinate, improve and implement capital projects throughout the organization. Safety goals will be a primary consideration, including contractor safety, as well as production, shipping, cost and quality goals. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Follows and ensures adherence to established company, local, state, and federal regulations and requirements as well as food safety, sanitation, food production and nutritional guidelines.

The Maintenance Manager provides direction to the maintenance personnel with specific focus on preventative and timely, corrective maintenance of process, facility, and auxiliary equipment.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the corporate profit objectives by directing safe and efficient predictive, preventative and corrective equipment repairs in a timely manner.
  • This role directly supervises employees in the Maintenance Department and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. The Quality Assurance Manager supports corporate objectives while providing leadership and ensuring employee accountability of food safety and quality programs for the continual improvement of product quality and production.


Responsibilities:

Responsible for establishing, implementing, and directing quality and food safety efforts to ensure that products from raw materials into finished goods and products conform to food safety and quality standards. Lead and support the achievement of plant operations food safety and quality goals.

  • Must have SQF certification or BRC, IFS audit hosting experience; must maintain the quality manual; prepare and host annual GFSI audits, customer and third party supplier audits. 
  • Manage QC technicians and QC microbiological and testing laboratories.
  • Update and maintain quality manual; prepare and host annual GFSI audit, customer      and third party supplier audits.
  • Prepare and host senior management meetings.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues.
  • Develop standard methods for microbiological and other laboratory analyses and      records.
  • Create and manage HACCP and Food Safety Plan programs.

Education and Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Food Safety experience as a Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; preferably in Food Science or Biological Sciences, but MAY consider candidates with equivalent experience.
  • Must have GFSI audit preparation and hosting experience, be HACCP certified.      PCQI certification is preferred.

Quality Control Manager ensures the quality of welds and dimensional accuracy of work performed by production staff. The QC Manager uses a high degree of proficiency and utilizes full skills of the trade including knowledge of codes and standards to verify that the final product is free of defects and meets the requirements of the contract documents. The Quality Control Technician is responsible for implementing and adhering to the Quality Control program at the manufacturing site. This includes conducting Quality Control checks during production, verifying adherence to the mycotoxin testing protocol, conducting mycotoxin testing, verifying sanitation activities, and other responsibilities as needed.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• As directed and trained, conduct various tests for incoming ingredients, including sieve, NIR, moisture, and mycotoxin testing.
