STRUCTURAL STEEL PROJECT MANAGER

Our long time well established and growing Construction client is PARTNERING with STAFFING PARTNERS in search of an experienced Structural Steel Project Manager for this Excellent IMMEDIATE DIRECT HIRE CAREER OPPORTUNITY!


SALARY - $90,000.00 / YR or higher/negotiable DOE

BENEFITS - Medical - (100% for employee, 50% for dependents), Dental, Holiday & Sick Pay, Vacation, IRA.

LOCATION - Located within Stanislaus County (Modesto, Turlock, Ceres, Oakdale or the Surrounding Cities) 

HOURS - Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm


The Project Manager manages all activities associated with the construction of an assigned project. The may include managing or coordination with a team of Project Coordinators, Project Administrators and Project Managers Assistants.


Key Performance Objectives:

  • Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously with senior management and field supervisors, while meeting stringent deadlines.
  • Interact with clients, fabricators and others as needed to discuss and manage projects in a timely manner.
  • Properly read and analyze contract drawings and job specifications
  • Review the preliminary schedule and the detailed project schedule that will allow the development of project schedules and sequencing plans to ensure productivity and profitability of the project
  • Interfaces with necessary departments and subcontractors to determine the scheduling of work and materials.
  • Review all RFI’s from Detailer for accuracy and proper syntax before submitting to GC.
  • Follow up with late RFIs and notify GC of cost/schedule impacts of late RFIs
  • Establish a relationship with company and GC for all field scheduling needs.
  • Inform company of all communication with GC so it can be documented.
  • Copy company on all applicable transmittals that affect their scope including drawings out for approval and RFIs
  • Monitor project activities, resolve challenges which arise, especially those pertaining to changes, deficiencies and punch list items.
  • Review weekly project status reports and provide information as required to keep upper management and clients properly informed.
  • Review all contracts and ensures that all contractual terms and obligations of such projects are maintained.
  • Erection drawings to be reviewed against design drawings while drawings are in for approval.
  • Work with programming to make sure all files are ready for production.
  • Review all specs to confirm all requirements are being complied to during fabrication process including but not limited to steel finishes (galvanize, cleaning and/or primer).
  • Coordinate with detailer to ensure all items are included in the shop drawings.
  • Inform General Contractor of cost impacts immediately with documentation
  • Keep all Change Order Request files current and up to date with all protenant information to price change order requests and obtain the Change Order.
  • Meets with customers and vendors to identify potential barriers with resolutions that maximize production and minimize  costs.
  • Walk the fabrication shop daily to maintain a current knowledge of fabrication progress
  • Visits job site as needed and required.
  • Upon shop release confirm with purchasing all items including specialty items have been ordered.
  • Project Schedules will be updated weekly with subcontractors, customer/GC and scheduling being notified.
  • Job status sheets will be submitted weekly
  • Submit to purchasing the ABM and inform of any long lead time items ASAP
  • Prepares reports for management. Meets with key personnel to ensure timeliness of project.
  • One week prior to shipment verify all items are ready to ship including bolts with MTR labels.
  • Meets and confers with Owner, Architect, Engineers, Contractors, Detailers, and Plant and Field crews to verify accuracy and completeness of all construction drawings.
  • Reviews plans and proposals and determine proper procedures in order to accomplish company/department goals.
  • Ensure all aspects of projects are properly and thoroughly documented.

LOGISTICS & CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER

Our growing AG / Food Processing client is PARTNERING with STAFFING PARTNERS in search of an experienced Logistics / Customer Service Manager for this IMMEDIATE DIRECT HIRE CAREER OPPORTUNITY .


SALARY - $60,000 - $70,000 / YR

BENEFITS -Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Vacation, Sick Pay

LOCATION -Stockton / Lodi (Some remote work is permitted on an as-needed basis, but must be able & willing to work on-site.)

HOURS - Monday to Friday


The responsibilities for this critical position include managing the logistics for all orders, providing excellent customer service and acting as the administrative lead for our sales operations. Requires experience in logistics, order management, and/or customer service as well as excellent administrative, communication, and organization skills. This position will not only be responsible for executing the tasks described in this job description, but offers growth potential and will also play a part in molding the team and processes behind the brand. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Fulfillment & inventory management, which includes PO processing/invoicing, EDI      integration, and managing inventory. 
  • Prepare orders, and shipments in adherence to the customer’s guidelines. 
  • Coordinate and communicate with customer’s logistics team to ensure a timely,      compliant, and efficient delivery. 
  • Serve as the brand’s front of line of customer service communications. 
  • Administer and maintain customer paperwork and online portals. 
  • Support sales and marketing efforts including shipping sales samples, trade show      supplies, broad sampling campaigns. 
  • Update and maintain customer portals and marketplace catalogs including internal      sales tools. 
  • Manage sales and marketing material inventory, and reorder process. 
  • Serve as liaison between other departments in regards to core areas of      responsibility, coordinating weekly operations meeting - preparing the agenda prior, chairing the meeting, taking minutes, and following up with stakeholders on action items. 


REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in logistics roles within the CPG or food manufacturing industry. 
  • Knowledge of UPS/FedEx/USPS/Zipline, Webship or similar carrier sites.
  • Experience with analyzing shipping and transit data to meet budget and timeline      goals. 
  • Self starter with excellent attention to detail, time management, problem-solving skills, and prioritization skills.
  • Experience  with SAP, KeHE, UNFI, Amazon, Shopify, Google Business, SmartSheet, are a plus.

Our client is PARTNERING with STAFFING PARTNERS for this FULL TIME DIRECT HIRE CAREER OPPORTUNITY!

  

SALARY: $23.00/HR, Possibly as high as $28.00/HR DOE

LOCATION: This position is locating within Merced County

HOURS: Flexible hours between Monday thru Friday/Saturday, Day Shift


The Meat Department Manager, “Manager”, will manage and oversee the meat department in addition to execution and management of department-related training, policies, and procedures that all store personnel must understand and adhere to. This position will plan, schedule, and execute all functions and duties to establish and maintain a profitable, organized, and quality department. Contribute to the financial interest of the store by monitoring pricing, margin goals, and standards set by the Ownership Group. The Manager will report to the Ownership Group.  


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Management of department inventory, following operational processes. 
  • Ensure effective communication including email monitoring (orders, vendors,      internal, customer inquiries).
  • Prepare customer cut sheets for custom meat processing. Ensure butchers adhere to      the directions of the cut sheets.  
  • Manage all department employees.
  • Establish a cleaning and organizational plan. Train all department employees, ensure      all store personnel are following proper food handling practices, and ensure it is executed continuously. This includes the cutting room, coolers, freezers, and in-store display cases. 
  • Ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of      merchandise. 
  • Taking orders and managing their fulfillment; submitting order into system for      proper invoicing and accounting. 
  • Complete weekly work schedules, utilizing input from Ownership Group. 
  • Properly train new hires in the department on, but not limited to, stocking,      building displays, proper rotation, and customer service. 
  • Responsible for managing monthly inventory shrink.
  • Receive inventory shipments.
  • Oversee and manage inventory counts. 
  • Reviewing and approving employee time off requests. 


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of:

  • Meat/butcher industry
  • Retail environments 

Ability to:

  • Take and follow directions
  • Speak fluently in English and Spanish is a big plus but not an absolute must,  Portuguese a plus
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines regularly and consistently
  • Maintain an extreme level of confidentiality
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of staff throughout the organization
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with all co-workers and staff

Experience and Training Guidelines:

  • Meat Locker experience a plus
  • Grocery Store experience a plus
  • Butcher experience
