SALES / DEALER ACCOUNT MANAGER

Our growing client specializing in sales in the AG / Dairy Industries is PARTNERING with STAFFING PARTNERS in search of an experienced Sales / Dealer Account Manager for this exciting DIRECT HIRE CAREER OPPORTUNITY!!!


COMPENSATION - Salary plus Commission.

The expected income for this position would be 100k to 120k. The starting package would be:

  • Base Salary of $44K
  • $10K contribution to insurance
  • 5% Commissions paid on capital products purchased by dealers. Commission starts once sales hit a minimum amount. 
  • 5% Commissions on parts
  • $750 Commission will be paid on units ordered where the sale was originated and closed by the Sales Manager 
  • Guarantee to pay 3 months commissions regardless of reaching the budgeted sales numbers

Based on a 12 units per month average the annual income in the first year would potentially be $101,100.


The Company's strategic plan is to increase the dealer performance as well as increasing the number of dealers in California. The primary objective is for the organization to provide assistance to dealers and their sales staff, to increase the number of unit sales.  

Existing dealers need to be managed so as they can achieve their minimum commitment in sales volume and turning Dealers into Great Dealers!!


ROLE / DUTIES:

The role is to provide sales support to dealers by:

  • Establishing a relationship with the existing dealer principle and salespeople
  • Establish a working relationship with new dealers
  • Introduce new dealers to the product and then managing them.
  • Implement a dealers marketing plan.
  • The duties of the dealer manager are to call on the dealers in California and assist them in selling the company's product.       
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with the dealers.  
  • Make regular contact with dealers on a monthly basis. 
  • Set goals and targets with KPI’s
  • There will be overnight travel to include dealers in Southern California. This may be as much as four nights a month.


REQUIREMENTS / EDUCATION / SKILL & EXPERIENCE:

  • We are looking for someone who is or has worked in the Dairy / AG Industry.  
  • Someone who has selling experience.  
  • Self-management is important.  
  • Some who understands the importance of using the value position of the product to sell and encourage the dealers to do the same.       
  • At least 10 years sales experience with background in business development/sales, commercial and operations
  • Demonstrated self management ability and relationship building skills 
  • Demonstrates the practical skills required to provide technical support
  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proven commercial experience with strong business system knowledge
  • Proven ability to deliver growth in a domestic environment and establish business systems to ensure sustainable performance
  • Proven ability to deliver performance utilizing diverse business function
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
