OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVES

Openings SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA – RIVERSIDE AND IRVINE TERRITORIES, AND SAN DIEGO COUNTY


Our successful and growing client in the Construction Industry is PARTNERING with STAFFING PARTNERS in search of Outside Sales Representatives for these EXCELLENT DIRECT HIRE CAREER OPPORTUNITIES!!


SALARY: Base of $50K, possibly higher DOE, Plus Commission - Earning potential of up to $100K+ first year.

BENEFITS: Medical, Dental, Vision, and more.....

LOCATION: Positions - Open Territories: Riverside County (including Riverside area) and Orange County (including Irvine area), and San Diego County

HOURS & COMPENSATION:

  • Required travel
  • Occasional weekday evening and weekend work will be required
  • Annual base salary - $50,000 Plus commission (3% of signed contracts: exception Tax Credit is 3% invoiced)
  • Unlimited income potential (no cap commission)

  • Car allowance, gas card, phone / Laptop provided – used only for company business


Business to Business Sales to plan and carry out all sales activities for Title 24 (energy calc), tax credits, HERS Inspection, Air Balancing, and MEP Design, as well as any future services that may be added on assigned accounts or areas. The position is responsible for delivering new business and ensuring customer satisfaction.  The position is responsible for cross-selling additional products and solutions to the client needs and advances the company’s interests.  Further job requirements and understanding of skills needed for this position are listed below.  This position has no direct reports and reports to VP of Sales. 


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate and qualify leads
  • Source and develop client referrals
  • Achieve sales quotas
  • Schedule sales activity
  • Develop and maintain a customer database
  • Develop and maintain sales and promotional materials
  • Make sales calls to new and existing clients
  • Develop and make presentations of company services to current and potential clients
  • Develop sales proposals
  • Prepare and present sales contracts
  • Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports
  • Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
  • Attend Builder meetings that can be both in person and virtual
  • Follow up on sales activity
  • Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
  • Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development
  • Attend networking events for business development
  • Be the point of contact for clients during life of project and address any needs from builders, construction managers, and purchasing agents, or their vendors that are involved with the project
  • Regularly meet with VP of Sales to discuss activities and pipeline
  • Monthly review of closed sales with VP of Sales
  • Ability to meet deadlines and support other team members deadlines
  • Expand in knowledge understanding through certified training and licensing
  • Adhere to safety protocols when at construction job sites
  • Comfortable with walking and going into a construction zone to talk to construction managers
