SR. HR GENERALIST

Our very well established and growing Distribution Client is PARTNERING with STAFFING PARTNERS in search of an experienced Sr. HR Generalist for this EXCELLENT AND IMMEDIATE DIRECT HIRE CAREER OPPORTUNITY!!


SALARY: $65 - $80K / DOE plus BONUS PAY

This person will be a skilled coach who leads, guides, and directs by engaging in active listening and understanding the needs of the organization, and will perform the routine functions of the Human Resources Department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and ensuring company policies and practices are followed.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Builds a culture of trust throughout the organization by addressing needs in a      manner that displays a high level of commitment to employee well-being.
  • Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment,      interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Performs timely and accurate submission of data for payroll, pay, benefits, and      leave administration.
  • Manages all HR-related activities, communications, reports, requests, and      documents created and received by the team.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Coordinates support and guidance with Singlepoint for managers, supervisors, and      employees when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Guides managers in the Employee Performance Management Process and ensures      related documentation is complete and up to date.
  • Protects the organization from unnecessary and controllable risks by being watchful      and responding to concerns, elevating to Singlepoint and the VP of People any risks that require their attention.
  • Suggests changes in policies and procedures based on employee and company needs.
  • Creates, maintains, and disseminates current HR-Related core processes and detailed      procedure documentation.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum  of 5 years of HR experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Expert in labor laws set by governing authorities and organizations.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license.

Our growing AG/Food Manufacturing Client is PARTNERING with STAFFING PARTNERS in search of an experienced Human Resources Clerk for this IMMEDIATE LONG-TERM INDEFINITE TEMPORARY OPPORTUNITY!


SALARY - $20.00 - $25.00/hr

BENEFITS - Medical available while Temp. If hired onto client's payroll, they offer: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Life, PTO

LOCATION - This position is located within Stanislaus County (Cities located within Stanislaus County include Modesto, Turlock, Oakdale, Riverbank, Hughson or surrounding cities)

HOURS - Monday thru Friday, 8:am to 5:pm. Must be open to working overtime if needed.

Human Resources Clerk is responsible for assisting the human resources department with employee hiring, administrative duties, filing and clerical duties. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Maintain records and documentation.
  • HR personnel, medical and I9 audit for compliance
  • Scheduling meetings for employees with questions
  • Corresponding to manager and other vendor emails.
  • Cleaning HR office and organizing filing and coordinating supplies and project      updates to the HR manager.
  • Maintain good relationships with all team members and be able to problem solve      basic customer service issues to employees or answer questions about policies and procedures.
  • Distributing human resources procedures.
  • Completing data entry tasks, and creating spreadsheets.
  • Answering phone calls and employee inquiries.
  • Helping with filing, faxing, copying and organizing departmental files.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities such as setting up interviews, handing and receiving      applications.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Minimum of High School diploma or equivalency.
  • 1 to 3 years of clerical experience.
  • HR experience strongly preferred.
  • English/Spanish written and verbal bilingual skills are required.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Proficient in intermediated computer software such as MS Office; Excel, Word,      PowerPoint, etc.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

RECRUITING ASSISTANT / PART-TIME

Our well established client is PARTNERING with STAFFING PARTNERS in search of an experienced Recruiting Assistant for this Part-Time Career Opportunity. 


SALARY - $17.50 - $19.50/HR

BENEFITS - This position does not offer benefits for part time hours, however offers the possible opportunity to go to full time hours within 6 months. If the position becomes full-time, this company offers Excellent Benefits. 

LOCATION - Modesto

HOURS - 5.5 hours per day - Monday through Friday - 9:am to 3:pm w/30 minute lunch break


The Recruiting Assistant is responsible for assisting in company's recruiting and Talent Acquisition methods and strategies. They are responsible for finding, attracting, and hiring new employees to fill open positions and meet company's workforce needs and goals.


Essential Functions 

  • Manage applicant flow and document the applicants appropriately.
  • Phone screening of a high volume of applicants.
  • Send frequent recruiting emails and follow up with candidates in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an excellent candidate experience with the responsiveness and follow-through for each candidate no matter what part of the interview process they may be in.
  • Assist with all new start and on-boarding procedures.
  • Audit job boards to ensure postings are visible.
  • Make recruiting calls to job seekers to inform them of employment possibilities.
  • Screen, evaluate, and qualify candidates for various positions.
  • Update job postings on applicant tracking system and applicable job boards.
  • Respond to employment verifications & file appropriately.


Requirements:

  • 1-year of recruiting experience preferred.
  • Basic level of knowledge in some recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, wage and salary trends, relationship management and due diligence would be an asset to this position.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Must possess basic analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Must possess the willingness to be mentored by experienced professionals to execute job responsibilities.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite.
  • High School Diploma.
