SALARY: $90K to $110K per year DOE

HOURS: Monday through Friday (possibility of Hybrid working in the office 2 to 3 days per week, but must live within commutable distance)


The  Account Executive is at the center of ensuring the successful delivery  of exceptional service to clients. Working with the client and other  client advisors, the Account Executive plans, executes, and tracks a  customized service plan for each client. The Account Executive builds  effective, personalized working relationships and is responsible for the  overall management of each assigned client. The Account Executive has  an understanding of the marketplace and industry, and uses that  expertise in negotiating terms and conditions on behalf of clients. This  position is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service  and is responsible for sound, proper and timely execution of all  assigned work.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborates with client and other client advisors in the development and execution of account strategies.
  • Directs daily activities to achieve account goals.
  • Prepares for and conducts client meetings, takes minutes and manages action items.
  • Attends participant enrollment meetings as needed.
  • Implements  client benefit plan decisions and effectively manages all aspects of  the renewal process including administration functions.
  • Obtains, utilizes and accurately summarizes key data for clients as relates to the management of their plans.
  • Stays current on industry and competitor trends, and applies knowledge of marketplace to account planning processes.
  • Identifies and coordinates technical resources necessary to achieve existing account service objectives.
  • Maintains positive relationships with clients and client advisors.
  • Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders.
  • Ensures that account data is current, accurate and complete on internal systems.
  • Consistently  supports compliance by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of  information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with  ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to  applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation  and licenser requirements (if applicable), and DFA policies and  procedures.
  • Displays a positive attitude and image to fellow team members and clients.
  • Keep abreast of health care industry trends and legislation
  • Manage and prioritize work flow to meet critical deadlines with minimal supervision.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • 10 years’ experience in client management and benefit’s administration
  • Knowledge of and experience with employee health benefits
  • Proven track record of meeting individual business objectives
  • Strong software and analytic skills, including experience with creating client deliverables utilizing Microsoft Office programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Expertise in handling difficult client issues related to health plan services, policies and procedures

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completion  of high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of ten years work  experience with benefits administration and account management.
  • A  current life and health licensed agent with the State of California or a  willingness to obtain a license within the first year of employment.

SELF FUNDED ACCOUNT MANAGER - Remote

Our well-established client is PARTNERING with STAFFING PARTNERS in search of an experienced Self-Funded Account Manager for this IMMEDIATE DIRECT HIRE CAREER OPPORTUNITY!


This position is FULLY REMOTE and requires local travel (10 to 15% or less – Central Valley, some Bay Area).


SALARY: $75k to $90k per year DOE

Job Description:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for self-funded accounts, ensuring open and effective communication.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and challenges.
  • Conduct  regular check-ins and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to assess  client satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of self-funded accounts, ensuring services and deliverables are on track.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, providing insights on account performance and recommending solutions to optimize results.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the execution of client strategies and services.
  • Monitor and manage the financial aspects of the accounts, including budgeting, billing, and ensuring profitability.
  • Ensure all contractual agreements are adhered to and work with clients to renew or modify contracts as needed.
  • Work with clients to identify cost-saving opportunities and maximize the value of services offered.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients in a timely and effective manner.
  • Proactively identify potential challenges and take steps to prevent or mitigate them.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of services and solutions.
  • Identify and act on upselling or cross-selling opportunities to expand the services provided to self-funded clients.
  • Contribute to revenue growth by negotiating renewals, extensions, or expansions of service contracts.
  • Drive customer satisfaction to maintain retention and support account growth.
  • Provide clients with regular reports and updates on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service performance.
  • Analyze account performance and generate actionable insights for improvement.
  • Track progress toward goals and targets, ensuring accounts are meeting expected outcomes.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment on account strategies and objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless account servicing and project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven  experience (typically 3+ years) in account management, client  services,or a similar role, preferably within a client-facing  environment. Self-funded experience A PLUS. 
  • Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting in a client-driven setting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience with self-funded health plans or managed care services a plus.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools a plus.

The  primary responsibility of this position is to be the point of contact  for all human resources functions and serve as an effective adviser to  employees and management.


Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for the daily workflow of the HR department.
  • Required to administer human resource programs to include compensation, benefits, leave, etc.
  • Provide human resource guidance to management, supervisors and other staff.
  • Recruitment and hiring for all exempt and non-exempt openings and perform new hire orientations.

  • Environmental Health and Safety activities
  • Responsible for implementation / support of OSHA Process Safety Management of Hazardous Materials
