INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Our rapidly growing manufacturing client is PARTNERING with STAFFING PARTNERS in search of an Experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for this IMMEDIATE and EXCELLENT DIRECT HIRE CAREER OPPORTUNITY.


Pay: $28.00 to $42.00 per hour DOE

Schedule: . You  will be scheduled for a 5-day, 8-hour shift pattern with two  consecutive days off. Flexibility to occasionally work overtime,  sometimes with short notice, is required.

Location: Merced County (cities include Merced, Livingston, Atwater, etc.)

Our  client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Industrial Maintenance  Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for  ensuring the optimal performance of facilities and equipment through  effective maintenance practices. This role requires a strong  understanding of electrical systems, and the ability to troubleshoot and  repair various mechanical issues. The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic  will also play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient  working environment.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including logic controllers and other components.
  • Inspects disassembled or malfunctioning machinery to determine cause of trouble and type of repairs required.
  • Conduct facilities maintenance tasks, general repairs.
  • Fabricate parts as needed to support ongoing maintenance efforts.
  • Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical circuits and components.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe working environment and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Serves as a member of Safety Committee and supervises day-to-day maintenance practices to ensure OSHA compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years related experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in a similar environment
  • Familiarity with OSHA standards and guidelines
  • Excellent record keeping, attention to detail and communication skills
  • Strong written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well with superiors, co-workers and subordinates

EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

 

Our long time well established and growing Construction client is PARTNERING with STAFFING PARTNERS in search of an experienced Equipment Maintenance Mechanic for this Excellent IMMEDIATE DIRECT HIRE CAREER OPPORTUNITY!


SALARY - $30.00 - $35.00/HR

BENEFITS - Medical - (100% for employee, 50% for dependents), Dental, Holiday & Sick Pay, Vacation, IRA.

LOCATION - Located within Stanislaus County (Modesto, Turlock, Ceres, Oakdale or the Surrounding Cities)

HOURS - Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

DUTIES / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:


Functions:

  • Work with Equipment Manager and Shop Foreman coordinate maintenance of equipment.
  • Analyze problems with various equipment and machines.
  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
  • Handle safe operations on repair and maintenance of shop machines and forklifts.
  • Recommends improvements of machines.
  • Suggests changes in working conditions and use of employee time to increase efficiency of keeping machines up and running.

Knowledge:

  • In depth knowledge of 3 phase electrical to 480 volts.
  • Must have experience working with shop cranes and hoists.
  • Must have experience repairing welders, forklifts and tractor trailers and diesels.
  • Knowledge of CNC machines, repair and maintenance of Motors and Controls as well as Hydraulics and Pneumatics.

FABRICATOR

Salary - $26.00 to $30.00 DOE

Job Location - Stanislaus County (Modesto, Ceres, Turlock, Patterson, Riverbank, Oakdale)

Hours - Monday through Friday 7:00 am – 3:45 pm


Our  client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rail Fabricator to  join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for  fabricating, assembling, and installing rail components with precision  and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise in metal fabrication,  welding, and interpreting technical drawings will be essential to ensure  the successful completion of projects. This position offers an exciting  opportunity to work on large-scale infrastructure projects, utilizing  advanced fabrication techniques and tools to deliver quality results  efficiently. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and  passionate about craftsmanship and safety.


Responsibilities

  • Must pass welding test.
  • 2 years' Hand and Guard Rail experience.
  • Pip Bender and Band saw experience.
  • Read  and interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and  fabrication shop drawings to guide assembly and welding processes.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and quality standards while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Read and interpret structural steel blueprints and plans for layout, fitting, and assembly
  • Position, align, and fit components together according to fabrication and detail drawings, and within specified tolerances
  • Perform precise measurements using weld gauges, tape measures, and other measuring tools
  • Cut products using torches and other tools
  • Follow detailed weld procedures
  • Have knowledge of how to safely use general shop power and hand tools
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.

Qualifications:

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in structural steel fitting
  • Must have experience reading shop fabrication drawings
  • Attention to detail must be extremely organized and always committed to safety
  • Ability to perform precise measurements using weld gauges, tape measure, and other tools of the trade
  • Able to work under frequent supervision
  • Must be able and willing to be trained in different production areas
