This role is the primary liaison between IT and assigned business area(s).  The role focuses on developing and applying in-depth business and technical domain knowledge to provide technical, application and process solutions to help drive business results.  Functions include:  business systems analysis, test management, project management, relationship management, business domain subject-matter expertise, application support, reporting, request management, application training, strategic & tactical application planning and low-code development where applicable.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Provide application subject-matter expertise to assigned business area(s) to      implement business process and application usage improvement to drive business value
  • Document and maintain application eco-system to define requirements for short- and long-term requests and initiatives within assigned business area(s)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years work experience in Information Technology in business facing role (IT Project Management, Business Systems Analysis, Business Relationship      Management, ERP Application Analysis, Business Intelligence Analysis etc.)
  • 5-7 years work experience in a business role with a technology focus
  • 4-year degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business w/related      experience in Business Systems Analysis, Technology Project Management etc. preferred

  • Engineers, designs, develops, and tests all aspects of equipment and machinery encompassing hardware and software development.
  • Applies knowledge of electrical engineering principles to design machines under the supervision of Senior Engineers.
  • Participates in design reviews and works on phases, sub-tasks or entire projects of moderate complexity.

The Field Service Engineer is responsible for performing complex technical service in support of the organization in a wide variety of customer locations. These technical services include new equipment installation and training, troubleshooting, problem diagnosis, repair, service, support, and training for equipment.

The Field Service Engineer must be located near a major airline hub airport within the United States. 


Responsibilities of the position include:

  • Successfully completing an in-depth technical training program on equipment.
  • Diagnosis, troubleshoot, and repair installed equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance services on installed equipment
  • Install new equipment, including start-up and training.
  • Conduct training programs for installed equipment.
  • Audit the condition of installed equipment and make recommendations of parts and service needed to bring machines back into full operating condition.
  • Document provided services in written reports and maintain accurate records of time and services provided.
  • Sell and implement Preventative Maintenance Service Programs.
  • Audit customers' spare parts inventories and make recommendations regarding appropriate inventory items and quantities.


Qualifications

  • Preferred candidates should have a bachelor's degree in a technical field and at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a technical field equivalent in nature.
  • Requires technical knowledge of the functionality and the end use requirements of the manufactured products from this business.
  • Strong technical skills in pneumatics, servo control systems, and PLCs are needed.
  • Position requires both mechanical and electrical aptitudes.
  • Understand budget and time management.
  • Understanding of PLC software packages and tools.
  • High level of integrity and ability to work with little to no supervision.

~~ MECHANICAL DRAFTER - Job Description ~~

This position requires a person trained in mechanical drafting who is also willing to learn machine component design as well as documentation and quality control. Creates drawings, maintains and compiles bills of materials, machine files and prepares supporting documentation including manuals. Creates and organizes digital documentation. Confers with Sales and Engineering to facilitate transforming sales orders and information into engineering parts releases to meet project timelines. Trains and works with the Quality Manager to inspect machine components including operating direct computer controlled CMM.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred candidates will have a 2-year certificate in mechanical drafting or closely related field. Experience will be accepted in lieu of education.
  • 3-5 years of experience minimum is required.
  • Must be willing to learn documentation and quality control.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management.

~~ ELECTRICAL DRAFTER - Job Description ~~

Under the direction of senior engineers, performs all phases of electrical panel assembly design, layout, wiring schematics, selection and documentation for all components. Designs, builds, supports, maintains and documents electrical assemblies. Assists in establishing and maintaining documented procedures for revision control of new and existing electrical assemblies, schematics and software. Verification of safety compliance with applicable codes and standards, component selection for safety compliance and providing risk assessments.


DUTIES

  • Under the direction of Senior Engineers, designs electrical systems, creates schematics, creates panel layout drawings, and develops electrical BOMs.
  • Maintains effective cooperation between engineering and manufacturing.
  • Develops and maintains drawing revision records and current directory of code installed on machines to facilitate ease of location and analysis.
  • Maintains, organizes, and manages Engineering project files and software. Ensures that user systems are up to date with latest software revisions.
  • Disseminates accurate and consistent information externally to customers as required and internally within company.
  • Follows detailed instructions; meets production goals and completes work according to standard procedures on assignments from engineering department.
  • Handles daily operations and manages document files in hard copy/electronic form.
  • Primary hands-on electrical technician for Electrical Engineering projects. This includes point-to-point wiring, debugging, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Acts as a primary resource for Production personnel in relation to wiring systems and control panels, as well as supporting the build of control systems.
  • Creates prints for other departments upon request.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • An Associate’s degree in a technical field is a plus.
  • Four or more years of experience with PLCs, Servos, VFDs, HMI, and other electrical control componentry.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex wiring systems.
  • Ability to work in teams with all levels of personnel.
  • Solid organizational and planning skills. Must be able to pay attention to detail.
  • Self-starter, dependable, able to work in a fast paced environment with accuracy/efficiency.
